Business Development Officer – Affinity & SMEs Department

To drive growth in the Affinity & SMEs segment by identifying new business opportunities, fostering long-term client and partner relationships, and delivering innovative insurance solutions tailored to diverse client needs. This role supports cross-functional collaboration, ethical practices, and a caring culture in alignment with Lockton Wattana’s core values.

Job Scope :

  • Develop strategies for acquiring new clients in the corporate and affinity business segments, and expand business opportunities through cross-selling, up-selling, and win-back initiatives. Also, support supervisors in enhancing insurance service offerings.
  • Conduct field visits to meet and build relationships with corporate clients and insurance companies.
  • Create and enhance tools for presenting business models and operational plans aligned with client needs.
  • Support supervisors and team members in delivering presentations and communications to clients and partners in both Thai and English.
  • Negotiate policy terms, coverage, and pricing with insurance companies to ensure clients receive the best possible offers.
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Handle other assigned tasks support overall business growth.

Qualifications Required :

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Insurance, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in business development or sales of motor insurance, property insurance, and other related products
  • Strong understanding of corporate client businesses and collaboration with insurance companies
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills, able to work effectively with corporate clients and business partners
  • Proficient in English (both spoken and written) for communication with corporate clients and insurers
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Strong strategic thinking and market analysis skills, with the ability to design tailored solutions for target customer segments
  • Proactive, agile, and able to travel to meet clients and partners
  • Possess a valid driver's license
