Senior Division Manager – Reinsurance Department

Job Scope :

Analyze specific insurance risks to determine reinsurance needs, meticulously review policy wordings and risk characteristics, and design suitable facultative reinsurance structures (proportional/non-proportional).

Prepare comprehensive placement slips and submissions, actively approach local and international reinsurers, negotiate optimal terms and pricing, and finalize reinsurance contracts to secure necessary capacity.

Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance clients, internal brokers, and both domestic and international reinsurers. You'll provide essential market intelligence and regular updates to all stakeholders.

Ensure all reinsurance documentation strictly complies with regulatory and internal guidelines. You'll also coordinate the issuance of essential documents and monitor premium payments and claims recovery in collaboration with relevant teams.

Provide technical support to our Business Development and Broking teams, collaborate with Claims and Treaty Reinsurance teams as needed, and actively participate in training, audits, and system developments.

Qualifications Required :

5-10 years of experience in reinsurance (facultative experience is highly preferred) or insurance underwriting.

A Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field.

Solid knowledge of reinsurance markets, products, and placement processes.

Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills are essential.

Fluency in English is a must for effective international reinsurance communication.

Proficiency in reinsurance systems and MS Office Suite.
